While the wool items can be extremely attractive to cats and other pets, particularly makes where lanolin-rich core wool is used, I do not make items specifically for animals or pets and cannot recommend them for this purpose.
One of the main concerns with giving felted items cat toys is that cats have tongues with reverse barbs on them, everything that sticks on those barbs goes on a one-way journey to the stomach.
Ingesting wool can then cause intestinal obstruction or strangulation of the intestine which can be fatal for cats and other animals.
Many of my makes not only contain fibres, but often include small parts, such as glass eyes and ribbon which can also cause problems if swallowed.
While some people do choose to give their cats/pets felted toys, and there's lots of felted toys on the market, I do not encourage giving any of my creations to animals (or children).
If you do have cats (or small children) please do supervise them when your items are on display, and wherever possible display them out of their reach.

I will not make items specifically for children to be used as toys. I prefer to make ornamental items and art work.
Children's toys need safety testing and this would take my work into a direction I would prefer not to explore at this time.
Some people do request me to make small animals and items (e.g. for use in baby photography, or on children's bedroom mobiles) which I am willing to do as the items are not left with the baby other than to take a quick photograph and/or are not played with.
Many of my items contain small parts, such as beads, glass eyes, or threads which could pose danger to small children such as choking hazards and problems if they were ingested.
Therefore my items are not designed to be given to children (or pets) and children should be supervised at all times when in the vicinity of felted items.
