Shipping & Returns

Shipping Policy

Please contact me to explore commissioned art pieces and gifts. Upon purchase I keep customers updated on estimated timescales, and notify when complete and ready to dispatch.

For items already created and ready to dispatch I aim to process orders by the end of the next working day, occasionally during busy periods this may take an extra day. My working days are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. I currently work my art business around other employment and childcare, so if you do have any concerns about shipping or receipt of items please contact me in the first instance and I'll do all I can to help as quickly as I can.

My shipping rates have been planned to be as fair as possible. Shipping rates are calculated per order, and you will be notified of these costs within any quote. Quotes will be provided prior to commencement of any project, and a deposit of 50% will be requested prior to commencing the project. I will always ensure the items are packaged as safely as possible to avoid damage in-transit.

On receipt of your order please check all items, as faulty or damaged items must be reported within 8 working days of receiving the parcel. Please be reminded my items are not toys, they are decorative items or art work. No refunds will be given for items that have broken due to being played with or handled in any way that the item was not designed for.

For additional security I post all items as UK signed-for. 

Unfortunately I am not currently posting internationally.

Return & Exchange Policy

In the unlikely event that a parcel arrives damaged or faulty please contact me at laurahorsleyfibreart@gmail.com so that I can arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund for you.

If you wish to return an item I will need to receive this to the address provided when arranging the return, within 28 days of receipt for a refund or exchange. This does not affect your statutory rights. As the goods are your responsibility until they reach me please ensure you safely package your return to prevent any damage to the items or packages.

With the exception of faulty or damaged goods I am not responsible for the return postage and therefore advise that you keep proof of postage in case the item(s) does not arrive to me.

If an item is returned outside of the 28 day time frame or is in a non re-saleable condition a voucher will be issued at the discretion of Laura Horsley Fibre Art.

If you wish to cancel your order and return it to me, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you must let me know within 8 working days of receiving your items. This can be done by emailing laurahorsleyfibreart@gmail.com. You will then need to return the whole order, at your own expense, if you have already received it. The original purchase price plus original postage will be refunded. I aim to process returns within 5 working days of receipt.
